The clergy and faithful of St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, Parma Ohio celebrated the Parish Feast Day on Sunday July 24, 2022. The faithful attended the Divine Liturgy celebrated by the parish clergy: Pastor, V. Rev. John Nakonachny, Asst. Pastor, V. Rev. Michael Hontaruk, Protodeacon Ihor Mahlay, and guest clergy V. Rev. Roman Yatskiv visiting from St. Nicholas Parish in Monessen, Pennsylvania. There were eight young Altar Servers and the Epistle lesson was read by the youth in both languages.
The responses were sung by the combined Ukrainian and English Choirs lead by Maestro Markian Komichak. “The Lord’s Prayer” was sung by the parish soloist, Lucia Leszczuk, accompanied by the choir.
У неділю 24 липня 2022 року духовенство та вірні Свято-Володимирського Українського Православного Кафедрального Собору, Парма Огайо відсвяткувати храмове свято. Вірні взяли участь у Божественній Літургії, яку відслужили духовенство парафії: Настоятель, протопресвітер Іван Наконечний, замісник настоятеля о.Михайло Гонтарук, протодиякон Ігор Махлай та запрошене духовенство о. Роман Яцків від парафії св. Миколая, Монесен, ПА. Також прислуговувало у вівтарі вісім прислужників, і апостольські послання молодь читала обома мовами.
Об’єднані українсько-англійські хори під керівництвом маестро Маркіяна Комічака своїми ангельськими голосами прикрасили богослужіння. «Молитву Господню» заспівала у супроводі хору, парафіяльна солістка Люся Лещук.

Following the Divine Liturgy, the clergy and faithful proceeded to the Parish Cultural Center to continue the celebration. It is not only the Feast Day, but also the 98th Anniversary of the Parish.
Entering the hall was a delight. The buffet table was beautifully set up and overflowing with food. The tables were set with gold and blue napkins and each talble decorated with a vase of sunflowers, complements of the youth of the parish.
The meal was prepared by members of St. Olga Sisterhood and other volunteers under the leadership of Mrs. Iryna Dudyak. Mrs. Dudyak thanked all those who graciously assisted in cooking the meal, serving, and in bringing the desserts.
Geof Greenleaf, President of the Parish Board of Trustees graciously served as the master of ceremonies. Logan Mroczka, a recent high school graduate received a Scholarship Award presented to him by Serhij Nahoryj, president of the Brotherhood of St. Vladimir. Anastasia Vyhovska, Vice President of the Junior Ukrainian Orthodox League Chapter spoke about their activities and fund raisers.
In all 250 faithful attended the Liturgy and the celebratory dinner.
