The 10th Annual Ukrainian Village Festival will take place on Saturday July 21 between Noon and 11:00 PM on the parish grounds at 5913 State Road at Marioncliff Drive.
Ukrainian arts and crafts will be for sale and on display.
There will be plenty of food for sale for eating in or for takeout. Ukrainian foods offered will include St. Vladimir’s famous perogies, stuffed cabbage, noodles and cabbage, pyrushky, borschts, kobasa sandwiches, shyshlyky (kabobs), and sauerkraut. There will be plenty of desserts, including cakes and tortes.
Live music will be performed by Harmonia. There will be performances of Ukrainian dance by the St. Vladimir Dance Troupe under the leadership of Oksana Logvynyuk. The Ukrainian Tavern (таверна) will be open and serving beer, wine, and soft drinks. A raffle will be held with gift baskets, gift cards, and a two-wheeled bicycle.
Tours of the Cathedral will be at 2:00 and 4:00 PM. Come and see the beauty of an Orthodox Church.
Activities and food will be available both outdoors and in the air conditioned hall. Admission is free and there is plenty of free parking.
